Bright and airy with fabulous views and extremely well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Lovely outside space too. A great pub a short walk across the road. We would have no hesitation in recommending Chale Bay Farm. |

Dave and Sue 20th -22nd Sept 2022 | We stayed at St Catharines for 2 nites. Comfortable, modern and spacious with well equipped kiitchen/ lounge with bifolding doors onto the garden. Lovely countryside views from our patio and dramatic views of Freshwater and the Needles from the complex. Coffee maker with pods a nice touch when i discovered how to use it! Dinner at nearby White Mouse Inn was a treat watching the sun go down over the sea. The drive along the coast to Freshwater has to be the highlight of our short break stopping off at Compton Bay - one of the islands best kept secrets - with the morning sun on the chalk cliffs...absolutely stunning. Also reccommend the Best Dressed Crab on the harbour at Bembridge for lunch. |

Gillian November 2021 | Fantastic accommodation in an excellent location if you want to be just a 10-15 minute drive from the buzz of any town or local attraction. The pub is actually just across the road, a couple of minutes walk, were you'll find the locals, happy for a chat. Morning views of the sea and coast are breath taking! Highly recommend a stay, we're definitely going back! |

Neil and Michelle 26-29 Sept '21 | Chale Bay Farm was our second stay on the island this year and we could not have been more impressed with our 3 nights in Purbeck View. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and every need was catered for. Unfortunately, with so much to do on the island, we never even got to take advantage of the gym facilities on offer. Steve was always on hand to assist if he was needed. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and to top it off the pub just across the road served great food and real ales as well as having a spectacular sea view to the rear. We would love to return one day! |

After a long days walk or cycle, it was the most perfect place to come back to and relax and enjoy watching the weather pass by, which was very varied during out stay. The apartment itself, has everything and more that you could need or wish for, including lots of lovely little thoughtful extras. We cannot fault the place at all. |
Vahini, staying in St Catherine's View July 2020 | Extremely clean property which is particularly reassuring at the moment. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials (including laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, foil). Bed was very large and comfortable and the addition of air conditioning in the bedroom was a bonus. Surrounding scenery was amazing, particularly at sunset. The handbook gave some useful information about the island. Very professionally run. |

Ian Hanson 13/9/24-16/9/24 | My wife and I had an amazing stay at Chale Bay Farm! We stayed in the Tennyson View room which was perfect for us. The room had amazing views of the chalk cliffs around The Needles and gave us three incredible sunsets. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious, with a few different seating options. The proximity of the Wight Mouse Inn was definately a positive and we enjoyed a few lovely meals there. The coast around Chale is also very rewarding and we were able to go for an amazing trek straight from the accommodation without using the car! Absolutely loved our time on the Isle and Wight and our stay at Chale Bay Farm, with the memorable sunsets, really added to the trip. We will most certainly be back! |

What a hidden gem this place is ... really peaceful...and peace of mind with facilitiets provided... doesnt feel crowded or commercialised. Rooms were fully equipped with all the necessaties plus extras ! For sure going forward whenever we visit isle of wight in the future we will book an apartment at Chale bay farm... What a lovely place to stay at !! 10/10 :) |
Carole & Dave August 2022 | We had a fantastic time with our 2 little granddaughters aged 2 & 5. We stayed in St Catherine?s view which was just perfect as all on one level (handy for the little one) it had wonderful air conditioning which was a godsend as we were there in the heatwave. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped and clean and just perfect. The area and views were stunning and the hosts were really helpful from the day we booked as we had a few questions for them as it was the first time we had taken the girls away - they responded very quickly to all questions. The EV charging point is also a great addition and we have recommended to a few friends already and will definitely return. Great apartment and great hosts! |
